Planibel G and Comfort E2

AGC Europe PLANIBEL G and AGC North America COMFORT E2 are both pyrolytic, low emissivity glass.
The Low-E coating is applied on a sheet of clear float glass by a pyrolytic process called CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) process.

In winter, the aim of the coating is to reflect the heat back to the building to prevent heat loss and keep the climate indoors at an even temperature.
In summer, the coating will reduce the amount of re-radiated heat entering the house thereby keeping indoor cooler. Total heat gain is reduced.

PLANIBEL G FasT is a special version of PLANIBEL G that has been specially engineered to toughen like ordinary float glass.

Prized for its Ease of processing, PLANIBEL G fasT offers 4 unique advantages:
• Toughenable with all types of tempering furnace since no special convection system is needed
• Improved scratch resistance of the coating
• Cheaper toughening costs (shorter cycle time = improved capacity)
• Faster toughening process (compared with other Low-E glass)
